Balance the propeller

It is extremely important to balance the propeller prior to installation of the engine.

Failure to do so may cause  damage to the  engine and/or the airframe.

Discard any propeller that is nicked, scratched, cracked or damaged in any way.

Prop size and pitch are determined by the particular model and desired flying style,

with the additional requirement that the maximum rpm should remain reasonable.

Saturday Turkey Cook-Out

This year's turkey cookout was better than ever. The weather was beautiful and the food was great.

Thanks to all who brought a dish for everyone to share.

A special thanks to Ryan for bringing the frying equipment and doing an excellent job cooking the birds.

We are all looking forward to next year's cookout.

Sugarland Big Bird Report:

Saturday November 11, 2006 saw cool temps (56 degrees) and high winds (gust
to 20 MPH) in New Iberia, Louisiana. However we still managed to pull in 25
registered pilots including Blaine Austin and Eddie Weeks with his variable
pitch setup! Many flights were flown without any issues. Cajun R/C, the host
club, was very fortunate with sponsorship. Each pilot left with a small
pilot prize. We then had a "pilots only" raffle for some model specific
items such as the Aeroperfect incodence meters and Astroflight whatt meter;
stuff that the general public would have no real use for. Then we held a
raffle open to the public for a H9 Funtana X100, Airtronics VG6000, Dremel
set, and a T-Rex heli donated by our LHS.

This event historically draws many, many spectators as we promote our event
through newspapers, radio and local television. At times during the event
I'm sure the pilots were out numbered with spectators 5 or 6 to 1!!!!! All
in all it was a great event with alot of participation from pilots and
spectators alike.

More info and a ton of pics can be found at

On behalf of Cajun R/C Club, THANK YOU EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

W.A.R.P.S

Fun-Fly  April 1,2006

We had A blast !  Thanks  to Tori and all the guys.

From all of us at WARPS R/C Club, we'd like to send a great big thank you to all of you who supported our 1st Fly-In. It exceeded our expectations, and the support that we received from our friends and neighbors from clubs across south Louisiana was outstanding. From Lake Charles to Slidell and every club in between, you supported us big time in our efforts to grow our club into a bigger and better facility. Our hopes are that all R/C clubs in south La. realize that if we support each other we can all grow into stronger and better clubs. Please keep in touch with our fellow pilots and keep us all informed of what's happening in your club so we can do our best to make your events and return the support that you gave to us. I Ask A Favor Of All Of You. Throughout the day at our fly-in I spoke with pilots that had come to our event and didn't bring any planes to fly. I asked why and the response was, I can't compete or I can't fly as well as you guys. I spent a little more time with them and let them know that there is no better place than a fly-in to get great advice and learn from other pilots experience. So please, when you meet one of these beginner pilots who is just getting started in r/c, remind them that we all started at the beginning and with time and the help of our r/c brothers and friends we to grew into what we are today.

From WARPS to you,
Thanks for your fellowship, friendship and your support.
